The Sun

Yeah, the Sun. It's getting pretty low in the sky these days. Which means less daylight, and so much more time to read. How about we revive this group and choose a book. Now, I know that I haven't read the last couple books, but I was young and inexperienced then. I've grown up. I'm ready to read the same book that all of you are reading, and I'm ready to discuss it over the interwebs. What do y'all say?!

    Actually, I tried to read Cadillac Desert. I finished maybe a third of it. That shit is dry as fuck, though very informative. I'm sorry to say, I'm not sure if I'll ever finish (this coming from a former "history" major). We live we and learn, and we experience a whole plethora of other cliches.

    Let's read! Or like The Cars would say, "Let's go!" Although I'm not sure what we should read yet.

    Ditto on Cadillac Desert. I kept falling asleep.

    Does no one want to discuss Cadillac Desert? I bet most of you didn't make it to the part of the book on Floyd Dominy! He's one of the most entertaining figures in all of American environmental history; the antithesis of John Muir. Anyway, the fact that someone called that book "dry" is fucking hilarious.
